*Urban Spaces proudly partnered with Silki to bring their first concept store to life at Canal Walk Shopping Centre in Cape Town. Specialising in retail interior design for beauty stores, our team translated Silki’s vision into a modern, elegant space tailored for skincare lovers.

Blending Beauty with Purpose

Silki’s retail store is more than just a place to shop—it’s a reflection of their dedication to honest, high-quality skincare. To communicate this ethos, we used a sophisticated monotone purple palette inspired by luxury beauty brands. The interior evokes calm, confidence, and timeless femininity, instantly welcoming customers into a world of self-care.

Designed for Experience

The store layout is clean and intuitive. We crafted custom cabinetry to ensure optimal product visibility and storage. Curved forms and fluted textures soften the space, subtly guiding customers through the environment. A cosy seating nook creates a relaxing spot for product discussions or consultations, adding a layer of comfort to the shopping experience.

Beauty That Connects

To enhance customer engagement, we introduced an inviting selfie wall, giving guests a space to capture their Silki experience. This interactive feature encourages social sharing, helping Silki grow their digital presence organically while building community in-store.

Smart Materials, Long-Term Value

Functionality was key. We selected finishes that are not only beautiful and tactile, but also durable and low-maintenance—ideal for a high-traffic retail setting. Thoughtful lighting highlights products and complements natural skin tones, creating a polished yet approachable atmosphere.
