Urban Spaces recently completed a contemporary office design and fitout for Longmile, a leading investment firm in the property sector. The brief was clear: transform an outdated workspace into a modern, functional, and professional environment that aligns with the brand’s values.

From the outset, we focused on smart, human-centred design. We stripped the original space down to its bare structure and rebuilt it with purpose. Stylish slatted timber screens now define key areas while preserving openness and visual flow. These elements bring sophistication and flexibility to the interior.

A bespoke refreshment station was introduced into the office lounge to encourage informal interactions and client meetings. This created a communal, relaxed zone within the workspace, reinforcing company culture and connection.

We reimagined underused areas with functional layouts, ensuring every square meter added value. Comfortable, modern office furniture was selected for ergonomic support and visual appeal. Lighting played a central role in the transformation, with upgraded fixtures enhancing mood, clarity, and productivity throughout.

Neutral colour palettes and textured finishes softened the overall aesthetic. In the long central corridor, we added angular lighting and slatted features to create rhythm, depth, and interest—turning a dull passage into a dynamic experience.

The result is a modern office space that balances functionality and aesthetics—perfectly representing Longmile’s vision for the future.
