Urban Spaces was commissioned to design the Coca-Cola Leadership University Interior at Coca-Cola Peninsula Beverages’ Parow headquarters—home to the brand since 1966. With a legacy dating back to 1940, Coca-Cola Peninsula Beverages continues to lead not only in product delivery but in people development, placing high value on leadership, talent, and community growth.
The goal was to develop a training and function venue that could host up to 50 people, while embodying the brand’s optimistic spirit. The space needed to be versatile, dynamic, and uplifting—a setting that encourages curiosity, connection, and personal growth.
We focused on spatial storytelling using key brand values:
Authenticity through honest materials like natural timber and stone
Exploration via intriguing spatial elements that invite movement
Transparency using minimal visual obstructions and glass partitions
Connection with curated social zones that promote interaction
We interpreted Coca-Cola’s signature ribbon motif into flowing architectural elements—curved forms, linking details, and dynamic accents. A monochromatic palette of soft greys and crisp whites is punctuated by deep red brand accents, keeping the space clean and contemporary.
Textures and layers were key:
Exposed timber trusses evoke openness and character
Glass, stone, and greenery create a refined, organic feel
Graphics and artwork tell a visual story aligned with leadership and legacy
Light-filled and inviting, the venue reflects the brand’s mission to foster leadership—internally and across communities.
