Urban Spaces is thrilled to present the newly designed reception area for the Directorate of the IDM at the University of Cape Town (UCT). The brief called for a functional yet aesthetically pleasing space that subtly demarcates the reception while welcoming guests with an inviting atmosphere.

Our design features a striking curved reception desk, expertly crafted to create a seamless flow for visitors. This focal point not only enhances the aesthetic appeal but also facilitates efficient guest reception. The layout includes alternative work areas and private call booths, ensuring versatility for staff and visitors alike.

Completed within record time, this project exemplifies our commitment to delivering high-quality interiors that meet the unique needs of our clients. The UCT reception area now stands as a welcoming gateway that embodies the university’s ethos of excellence and innovation.
