Mauritius Telecom, a leading telecommunications company in Mauritius, tasked us with reimagining their office spaces following a major rebranding initiative in 2017. The goal was to reflect the bold and modern my.t brand through a complete office redesign.

Aligning Office Design with Brand Values

Our approach to this office design and project management project was to align the interior spaces with Mauritius Telecom’s commitment to innovation, connectivity, and brand identity. This project focused on transforming two floors of their iconic office block in Port Louis. The new design would mirror their vibrant brand identity while creating a functional and welcoming environment.

Drawing inspiration from the bold colors and geometric shapes of the my.t brand, we restructured the office layout to include modern workstations, collaborative spaces, and private meeting areas. Our design emphasized openness, ensuring that employees could collaborate effectively while also providing quieter spaces for focused work.

Project Challenges and Successful Execution

Managing a project abroad, particularly in Mauritius, posed some unique challenges. One significant hurdle was the reliance on local suppliers and artisans, which required adjustments to our expectations regarding product selection and procurement timelines. However, by maintaining clear communication and fostering strong relationships with local teams, we were able to overcome these challenges successfully.

Despite longer procurement times, the project was completed successfully, meeting all the client’s high standards. The final design, which embodies the my.t brand and promotes connectivity, was well-received by Mauritius Telecom’s employees and management, who were thrilled with the results.
